Hi this will be my first post here and I'm specifically in hope of an answer from Alains the Nsr god who educates here. I recently purchased two Honda Nsr jc22 2001 motorcycles, one import and one uk. Before I stumbled upon Nsr tips posted on this forums. I switched the 626 cdi to the 639 cdi without swapping the wires. This resulted in the bike running well for about 15 minutes, followed by a huge back fire. After pushing her home I tested the spark which seemed irregular sometimes strong sometimes no spark at all. after re-fitting the 639 and a new ignition switch it started and the spark was fine. now my question from this is, what damage have I done to the cdi and is it recoverable. I have the cdi rubber casing stripped and can not see any physical damage. I'm also in need of a location to purchase an ignition switch(just the switch no barrel). Any help is appreciated and thanks in advanced .

Tl,dr I'm stupid and blew my cdi up help!!
