Be clear in what you're asking. Are you only interested in people who buy 6 months of VED? I didn't ride for a couple of weeks when it was icy and the Cooncil refused to grit my steep road, but I'm buggered if I can tell you when.

Lol!

Last year I was on the bike every working day - apart from a couple of days when I took the bus because I was boozing on a Friday.

Everybody say hello, to the PANSIES!

Put simply when it starts pissing with rain and it's freezing cold, varies year in year out cos we live in Great Britain.

You will get your hardcores who commute, I only ride for pleasure and don't have a death wish so when the weather gets shit the bike gets maintenance in the shed!

I put my bike away (in the garage) every day, but by Gad the next morning it's out again. I've only not ridden the bike on 1 working day that I can remember, due to ice, so I took the bicycle instead.

What's the project, dare I ask? Protocol synopsis or it didn't happen

That's like a china-man telling a cowboy that from their point of view the Wild West is East!

Observation: if you put "World Map" into Google and click 'maps'.. it centers on Milton Keynes! Shocked

Centered on London. Guessing it picks where it thinks your ISP is.

The Northern thing does depend on where.

I live in Halifax which is in West Yorkshire and we do get substantial amounts of snow and it is exceedingly hilly.

The difference between Huddersfield/Halifax and say some where near like Keighley or say Rochdale can be incredible.

I have known drifts over 6' high.

It really depends on altitude.

I do use my bike throughout the year, but there are occasions when I can't. I have ridden on snow and not fallen off, but then I have ridden on snow and fallen off.

Going down hill on snow is stupid, the front goes all light (like it's in the air) and down you go.

More stupid is doing the above when you have a car with winters on.
