Always happens, mud bro. 
No mans wants to nod at dirt biekahs. It's even worse on a two stroke, I think they think it's a 50 or something. My off-roading gear though isn't motocross clobber, it's a pair of Aldi Kevlar jeans with some 661 MTB knee pads underneath, MX boots, an Aldi cycling jersey, or two cycling jerseys if it's cold and then my GP Pro body Armour with an MX lid. If it's really cold I wear lycra cycling stuff underneath the Jeans and throw a cheap hoody over the top of the armour, it's massive and doesn't fit me at all without the armour.
That could be why I'm ignored? The other bikers just see a div in jeans and a hoodie on a small two stroke, the CRM is physically smaller than a DTR125 and probably only has a touch more go.
