Drunken arsehole

Got a call from smallest stalk earlier, some drunken fuck kicked her cbr over and walked off, snapping the clutch lever and 2 indicators whilst she was working tonight in Northampton town center. Luckily a passerby caught it all on video and combined with the CCTV by the time I got there the scum had been arrested and is spending the night in the cells, going to be charged in the morning.
Pointless unprovoked damage to smallest's bike, and then whilst moving the bike to a safer parking place, someone carelessly nearly knocks her off, poor girl was in tears.
Passerby from the King Billy (local biker pub) was helpful with suggestions for repair, didn't need the help but its nice to know that there are still some decent people about. Turns out he knows smallest as that's her local.

All of our bike's could be classed as cheap shitters, but they're our cheep shitters. Nobody else paid for them, nobody else cares for them, and for smallest the bike is important as it's her only transport. I think you would care, if not for the bike but for the principe of your properly being damaged by someone else for their amusement.

Reminds me of when I got my R125 years ago, brand new, blue one with gold wheels. Within the first week, some jealous c*nt had keyed the tank so there was about half a foot long deep gouge running from the petrol cap all the way down the right hand side.

There was no CCTV where I'd parked it though, rookie mistake. I hope this dickhead gets what he deserves.

Police will probably let him off the hook and make you chase after him through small claims court, which will probably cost more than it would to repair the bike in itself. Rolling Eyes

See if the police will let you have his information, then seek an alternative way to get even. Thumbs Up

Bit of an update, scum woke up in the cells this morning not knowing why he was there, and was suitably horrified when he found out what he had done. He has readily agreed to pay for the parts needed to repair the bike, without me taking the piss and claiming for unnecessary items. Let's hope that scum realises his mistake and doesn't do it again, becoming once again a normal human being. After all, everyone deserves one chance in my opinion.
Big thank you to the doorman of the club opposite who grabbed him, and the police for keeping us updated and dealing with this effectively.

Thanks for the nice mesaages and the outcome was relatively good since all damages were paid for and then some and apparently the man was quite ashamed and horrified at what he had done, but all is well and sorted...just without a bike for a few days until it's fixed.

And I think my reaction wasn't too bad with tears since I was fully prepared to cut a bitch as it were.
