I was out riding my high powered motorbike this morning.

Anyway, I rode past this guy and he nodded at me. I thought to myself, that's a bit strange. I thought he'd just hit a bump in the road or something so just continued.

But then it happened again - twice more. And one of those bits was really smooth tarmac so I know there were no bumps.

Am I supposed to do something back? I'm worried I will hit a bump in the road and become part of a bike gang by accident.

Is there some sort of biker nod?

Friendly nod to fellow bikers, don't worry about it and nod back if you wish.

Question Never heard of that!

Probably had a fly or similar caught in their helmet, I reckon.

I once had a stingy-thing wedge in the slight temple-gap between my helmet and head, which made me wanted to get it out as quickly as possible.

Its a sign of early onset motor neuron disease. Forget about it and go on your way.

Ignore the nodding dogs on the bike.

I don't know what you mean;
I currently have a Harley, ergo I never nod.

Although if its a bump in the road making their heads wobble, then obviously my BOOBS "nod to other bikers" all the time.

Ignore all this bad advice, the correct response is to first tap the top of your lid once with the flat of your left hand.
Then make a fist with it and bring your arm down and across your chest placing the fist knuckles outward on
the bit of your chest above your right pectoral. Like this pic only using your left hand, the reason it's always the left
is so that you're still in full control of the bike because you've kept your right hand on the throttle/front brake.
Sorry about the pic it's all I could find.

Laughing

This was brought about by someone on a commuter nodding at me like the fucking Churchill dog. My, how I lol'd.

Back off to go sailing round the Med for a bit, hope you all keep well in my absence. I know you'll miss me like when herpes temporarily leaves you.

Headbanging to the beat from the car in front / behind? I consider it fair sport to perform my worst dad-dance when assaulted by foul music at traffic lights.
