I've not been able to access my online portal now for 7 months. Anyone else have this problem? I keep getting hit with the following;

I change my bike a lot and the online portal allows me to make changes in 5 minutes with no admin fees and quite often, little-no change in the cost of the policy. Often I am refunded. However, now I have to phone them up to do this and it often takes 20-30 minutes to do so. Considering they bill their service as follows;

When I've enquired to them about the downtime of their online portal, they simply state "Yes, we are working on it but don't know when it will be back online". I've used them for 5-6 years straight. Love(d) their service but now it's gone down the pan. I wouldn't bother with them anymore.

Thanks for the heads up. I also liked this about eBike, but if they'd dropped the ball on that they've removed any benefit to going with them. Their prices also (5 years ago) came up as competitive but now they're way too high for me, even when you factor in the cost of a few mid-term adjustment muggings from other brokers.

eBike the only insurance company to offer such a service?

Wouldn't go a miss for other insurance companies to adopt such a system to prevent hastle, waiting time on phone calls and easier policy updates, but this is insurance, I wont hold my breath.. potato'd in 3..2..1 Sad

I spoke with them again earlier today and they stated the reason why it's offline is because they are "rebuilding the system from the ground up and it's taking some time to do". 7 months and counting? :/

Yep, that's the way I see it also. They were more expensive than the competition in the recent years but I used them out of convenience and the fact I could make changes with no admin fees. Their renewal this time for my Deauville is £148 when others are offering it as low as £68 for an annual premium. I was going to use them for their 'pay as you go' option this time round (I only need insurance for maximum 6 more weeks before I move to NL) but I figure I'll just leave it now. Frick them.
