Liverpool Bike Shop, (Historical)?

Any middle aged scousers lurking here?

If so, can you remember what the Motorbike shop, in Moor Place, off London Road was called, during the 70's & 80's?
It's doing my 'ead in, I can't remember, (senior moment), Google earth shows it's now "Burnley Motors", it changed to "Appleyards" at some point, although I wasn't living there at the time so can't be sure.

There was one near Lime Street called Cundalls, that was a Honda dealer.

There was also Victor Horseman's and The Bee in the same area apparently. They both did a lot of Triumph stuff.

Suntan, the bike shop of pembrooke place and across the rd was Cundalls ,they ended up has honda dealers before closing .Proir to that they were BSA/triumph (meridian ) main dealers , Horsmans were on RENSHAW ST ,they were BSA/triumph main retail dealers along with Velo and in 1966 yamaha , opposite them was The Bee ,Susuki . There was also Bill Hannahs just by the Angligan Cathedral over on Moorfields there was Sargeants AMC dealers. They first Honda dealer in the north west was BilSmiths who were in Aigburth L17.I had the pleasure of working for Horsmans from1966 to 1969 then Cundalls who were a very strange company and incidently Horsmans moved into Cundalls premises on Pembrooke place when they went bust ,which they did inturn when the car sales was forced into Bankruptcy around 1980's cheers BobH new member rides a BSA a10 which I've had since I was 16 now '62.

A good friend of mine lives Liverpool way (Ormskirk). He has a Honda CB72 circa 1961-2 (the first issue of them to the UK).
It was raced in the '62 or '63 TT and its claim to fame is that it was the first, ever, motorcycle to start a TT race using an electric starter. It was put together by a Liverpool dealer, Honda obviously. So, which dealer was it, anyone any ideas?

The Motorcycle Dealers in Moor Place, Liverpool was Cundles Ltd they also had a branch over the road in Pembroke Place which sold Bicycles. I worked for them from May 1978. Both the Byrom Street and Whitechapel branches had closed by then.

Victor Horsman Ltd took over the Pembroke Place shop from Cundles in March 1980 along with the stock and staff together with the furniture shop next door. With minimal refurbishment they were opened as Horsmans Bikers World selling both Motorcycles and Bicycles.

Victor Horsman also bought the business of The Bee Cycle & Motor Company in Renshaw street. I was made redundant from The Bee in September 1982 within 2-3 weeks the whole lot had gone. They sold Cars, Motorcycles and Bicycles but with bad management it all went to the wall!

I have a Triumph workshop manual 1945-1955 which is stamped:

This is stamped upon the cover. Came upon this site out of curiosity while doing some research for the local Triumph Owners Club.
