Looking to do an oil and filter change on my car. It's the 2002, 2.5 V6 petrol. Just seeking information on how much and what grade and viscosity I should use please.

Thanks

You don't need a Haynes, a V6 Mondeo will take around 5.5 to 6 litres of engine oil. As with most Fords 5w30 is the recommended grade, semi or full synthetic - the choice is yours.

Personally I use Fords own Formula F in my Focus ST170, its quite easy to get hold of at a reasonable price being one of the reasons.

I'd be worried, nearly every Mondeo over 10 years old appears to exploding bumpers. Not all but quite a few have hole in bumpers.

I think ford prime them.
