no I usually laugh, and wave cheerily, whether on bicycle motorbicycle or in car - why no option for that.
life is too short for rage.

I am a rather calm man. I don't get angry, I get disappointed.

I think I've exhausted my vocabulary of expletives and insults lately. Look up the definition of red mist and you'll see me shouting at the top of my voice through my helmet. I hate that I have to suffer the idiots I inhabit this planet with.

Roadworks everywhere, coupled with dozy cagers inching their way home a foot at a time... nightmare.

Everyone just seems asleep on the road. When the light turns to green I'm ready to GO.

It might be quicker riding a bike, but having to fight my way through hordes of idiots just stresses me out...

I don't like having cars in front of me setting the pace because then I have to react to what they react to (i.e. gaps that they *think* they can't get through which I definitely can). Also I can't see as well in front of me. I just overtake everything in my way until I have a clear road.

I prefer riding at night when there's no twat about and I can get a proper rhythm going.

I did when I was younger.

But now I expect other road users (not just cagers) to make mistakes or be reckless. If you expect it, you react quicker, and carry on with less stress.

Ordinarily I'll have a stern head shake, that'll learn 'em.

Other night though I did have a full on spaz rage at a white Audi driving bint that backed within an inch into me after she changed her mind twice about letting cars through a school bottleneck in our village. Silly cow started babbling shit at me but soon melted back into her car after I somewhat cruelly (and somewhat loudly in front of the village mumsnet group) roared at her 'this thing doesn't have a fucking reverse gear!'

I'm afraid I do.

I can handle other people making mistakes. I'm really good at that. If someone pulls out or cuts me up, I'll just stop, and if they wave a sorry, I'll even completely forgive them. It doesn't matter how careless they were, as long as I can see it wasn't deliberate.

What sets me off is those who cut you up and then have the fucking cheek to start waving their arms about or honking, blaming you for it. If they can't show restraint when it's their fucking fault, it's a very BIG ask for me to show even greater restraint and let it go. I'm getting better at it, but I still just can't stop myself reacting occasionally. On the rare occasion that I do go, I really do go.

In the back of my head I tell myself now, if anything big ever happens when I'm seriously about to lose it: Don't. Drop back, follow them from afar, find out where they live... Laughing

There was a murder near here the other day after a road accident; it's as well that these days I'm mellow and the knife tends to stay strapped to my shin. You just don't know who'll bleed too much.

I struggle with this too. But I always try and remember that I have a nice life, and don't want for much
in this world and it helps me keep perspective. Besides, I'm 42 now and getting too old for all the flexing and posturing.
I'm not as young and ready to kick off as I once was.

I'm like this too. Don't see the point at getting angry at it. I see people racing about and driving aggressively to get one car ahead. I find it funny.

I think I am generally more tolerant than I used to be. We all make mistakes, none of us are perfect. When I make a mistake I always apologise by way of a hand signal, instantly deflates any road rage. For instance clipping a car mirror while filtering.

If someone else does something stupid and then doesn't apologise there is nothing more satisfying than a simple head shake.

I'm a very laid back person, takes a lot to annoy me. I feel like growing up with 3 brothers has made me this way. Many arguments and fights but all quickly forgotten/forgiven.

These people who rage and shout at people for using phones and all that jazz, meh, it seems tiring to me, I don't care do whatever you want.

Being pulled out on is also no usually an issue, I mostly ride country lanes, I'll just over take anyway, maybe even toot my pathetic little horn Laughing

Sometimes you do just want to let it all go and push pineapple.

Sometimes you feel that uncontrollable urge to shake the tree.

When that happens, just try and go to the left, to the right. If you must, then jump up and down. In extremis, to the knees.

Then you can come and dance every night, and, merciful Allah and Alyson Hannigan willing, you too can sing.

Sing with a hula melody.

Idiot drivers. I have been known to get a rage on..I try not to but it happens. a simple sorry goes a long way. We all make mistakes..it's just some could be avoided

Lying asshats posting stories of police cars pulling out on them, which goes on for 10 flucking pages without said asshat delivering ...where is my apology. Admit the mistake you c+nt.
