jsut wondering what other people are getting , mileage wise out of a fill tank so far ive been getting around 100 miles ish before fuel light comes on

For a start lets get back to basics.
Start by working out your actual MPG. NOT guessing. Bike fuel gauges are not very good.

Fill to brim, reset trip counter and ride bike. When filling up again. Fill to brim. Note miles down & fuel added. Rinse and repeat....

Miles / ltr = X 4.55 = (MPG)
