That goes back a quite a few years for me, there were one or two shops set up for this trade, part time opening on Saturdays and Sundays if I remember correctly.
I thought it was a great idea at the time, unfortunately they were located way down where the Engs live, so of no use to me.
Wish there were some shops relatively close by though, I would have less unusable stuff in my cupboards if I could trade in easily for some bit of kit or clothing that I would actually be able to make use of.
Maybe an angle for one or more of the charity shops to take up on, but I doubt it will happen  |

There's always ebay. I've sold a fair bit of used clobber there - the prices are OK if you are fanatical about providing lots of good photos and masses of measurements.
