Can't say that really floats my boat. Tank looks too small (aesthetically) and those bits of plastic bolted on to cover bits/holes Thumbs Down

TBH Yam should bring back the Yamaha SZR660.

That was really really good fun.

This is one of the things that puts me off modern bikes. Why can't they integrate the bodywork styling a bit more, so you get a flowing line through tank/side panels/tail piece etc? Or am I just showing my age? Rolling Eyes

And I know there are some would say, well it's what the bike rides like that's important, not how it looks. Ok then, let Ferrari build a car with bits stuck on here, there and everywhere, and see how that sells. It may not be the most important thing, but I think it does matter.

.

dare say with the correct body work kit it could be made to look like something that floats your boat.. RD350LC ... RD700LC ?

I think the Ducati Scrambler and the MT-07 had a baby.
And it is a pretty one.

I want one

That tail light looks like a pound shop head torch.

I like that. It looks way better than MT-07. Better than Scrambler too.

Too much ugly radiator on show, easy fix with cover screen\guard.

Otherwise, I very much like it.

Maximum power - 55.0 kW
Limited power version - 35.0 kW

Would make a good A bike restricted down to A2, something different and unique appeals to me looks wise, includes a fuel gauge and gear indicator always nice to have both, not necessary but always a bonus IMO.

*Sells everything I own and lives of pot noodles to even come close to being able to afford it*

A modern TDM ? well almost anything would be better than their last effort at making a big twin, other than that it looks like a parts bin special and horrible with it.

It will be launched in November, that must be the least appealing time in the year to launch a bike like that. But I guess it will still sell out.

First the NineT, then the Ducati Scrambler, and now this bike. This is going to be a big trend. A lovely one.

This looks awesome. Better than the Triumph scrambler but not as nice as the higher spec Ducatis. The Ducati 'full throttle' scrambler looks the best to me.

How big is the Yamaha dimensionally? My dad has test ridden an MT07 and says he found it slightly too small. I take it this will have an identical chassis?

This is the reason why I still prefer the Ducati Scrambler (looks-wise, at least). Every bit of that bike looked like it flowed together into one...unit. This one looks like an MT-whatever with all the plastics stripped off. The visible tabs around the seat are particularly glaring.

Still, kudos on Yamaha for putting something of this concept into production, maybe it'll prod other manufacturers into offering ones that look better Laughing

Really? Look at the front brake and throttle cabling, looks terrible.

Sooooo...worth the extra 500 quid then?

Not that I've ridden the MT 07 either but I do like the styling of this one. I'm assuming the smart option is to save the money though. I wonder if these will push MT 07 prices down any.

That is one of those questions one should ask him self first. I think it's a matter of taste. If you like it, then buy it. According to your question I can see you like it and just you seek approval of your choice on the internet, amongst complete strangers. Smile
