I've been using my RST jeans for a few years however I got a small hole at the 2012 BBQ climbing over the fence; which has now ripped through into the kevlar.
So I'm in the market for another pair, however I fancy a change from the RST brand. So has anyone got any recommendations, preferably in black (not bright blue). ____________________ CB125>CG125>GN125>ER5>K100RS>R1100RS>K100RS

I don't think they look safe for motorcycle use so I'm out.

Pretty sure they only came in blue; but the Oxford K-Jeans I got a few weeks ago seem good - first ones i've managed to find that fit me comfortably like a normal pair of jeans in the same size would too.
Only cost £50 (knee inserts included) which was a lot cheaper than some other ones I looked at. Got mine from Mega Motorcycles in Swindon .

I got a pair of these.

Yes they are cheap, but they are double stitched and seem pretty stong with it. Comfortable (I've worn them soaking wet too) and have protection in all the right places.
For the price, they are worth a punt. ____________________ illuminateTHEmind wrote: I am just more evolved than most of you guys... this allows me to pick of things quickly which would have normally taken the common man years to master

I use red route, I have been patching them up for years. Great value!
Before you condemn them for not being great value, just think, if I have been patching them up, that means I've been crashing, which means, seeing as I don't think you can sew Kevlar, they are doing their job very well, as only the denim has "scar tissue" and "skin grafts" from an old pair of jeans. The old pair of jeans, ironically, I crashed in and shredded the left leg to pieces, both jeans and mine, so now they donate patches to the Red Routes! ____________________ Current:1991 Honda MT50 (Soon to be a H100/MTX/MT5 hybrid), 1976 Honda Cub C70, 2005 Honda Varadero 125, 1993 Yamaha TTR250 Open Enduro , 2010 Road Legal Stomp YX140, 1994 Honda CRM 250 MK III, 1999 Cagiva Mito 125, 1992 Honda CB400 Super Four, Stomp T4 230, 1984 Honda H100s, 2009 Sym XS125K
