Does look like a fairly good deal even for a refurbished unit
I'd point out though that they don't appear to be including the 'universal clip' so you'd need to spend another £14.99 with them for a mounting kit too if you don't already have one. I expect that's mostly where they make their money on the deal, it's a little plastic clip worth all of 20p but you can't mount the cam without it ____________________ Current Bikes / Projects: 1999 Rieju RS1 50

The Roam 2 does look good and most of the reviews I read were positive. Was going to order one myself but got the smaller Drift 2 for £90 from the thread on here
https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=304323
Looks like that deal has ended now but don't know if they'll repeat it?
At £60 though I'm tempted to get one of those older Drifts just to have as a spare or use on the MTB ____________________ Current Bikes / Projects: 1999 Rieju RS1 50

I got the remote with mine for some reason. And when you buy the clip you get two more mounts also. ____________________ Riding: Yamaha MT-09 Tracer Occasionally Riding: 08 Suzuki SV650, Potato: 2011 Yamaha YBR Custom.

Just got mine, Seems okay. Came with the remote, so that's nice. Will need to buy a memory card and the screw for the mounting points
But it's clean in good condition. ____________________ Previous: GSF600, FZR600 x2, ZXR750, XT600 Tenere, CB125, CZ125, ETZ 250, ER5, CCM R30, DRZ400, RF600x4, RF900x2, GS500, VTR1000F, 640 SMC, CB250 NIGHTHAWK, GT550x3, GPX750 TE610, CB500, X11x2, SV650, ZING 125, TL1000R,CB250 Superdream, CBR1100XX |

32GB Samsung EVO 48MB/s Micro SD card can be had on the bay for £8.99, that's what I've got in my Drift 2 and will be getting another

Adhesive mounts are seriously strong so long as they are making good contact. ____________________ Current Bikes / Projects: 1999 Rieju RS1 50

They're fake in as much as they're a smaller than stated capacity, but formatted in some funky way such that devices see it as 32gb or whatever it's advertised as - but you only realise when you try recording for 30 mins or something, and on playback you find you've got maybe 5 mins as it just keeps overwriting it. |
I'd have thought that would be more an issue with the cheap unbranded ones. One I got is 100% genuine and in full retail packaging as listed, if it wasn't I'd just get a refund. ____________________ Current Bikes / Projects: 1999 Rieju RS1 50

[quote="mikester"]Is there a sure fire way of sticking these to your helmet without firstly compromising the integrity of the helmet and secondly the camera falling off?[quote]
Use one of the curved glue mounts. Permanently attaches to your helmet. ____________________ Bikes: S1000R, SH350; Exes: Vity 125, PS125, YBR125, ER6f, VFR800, Brutale 920, CB600F, SH300x4
