i love the bike to pieces and enjoy every minute riding it , but last week it stopped starting with the electric start i just get a clicking noise every-time i press the button , but the bike still bumps off very easy i can walk with it and let clutch out in 2nd hear and it will start so. so Ive been using it for work by bumping it off every morning which isn't the worse thing in the world (hey it still runs and works as it should ) , but noticed the other day when the bike is running and i press the ignition button the engine dies as if Ive hit the kill switch ( found it out by accidentally pressing when running and tried it again to see whats was going on

should i be worried at all and do you reckon my starter motor is shot ?

thank you to anyone in advance for reading Smile

Lights take some...starter takes a beefy amount of it. My lights come on but I get a click If my Triumph battery is low.

Possible starter relay problem ?To test short out incoming cable from battery and outgoing to starter motor. If starter turns over then its probably the relay .A lot cheaper than a new starter motor .
