Getting in touch with NABD would be a good starting point.
https://www.nabd.org.uk/

Plenty of one-armed bikers out there.

Brachial plexus injury is probably worse than a missing limb but one-arm only is perfectly do-able. Realistically, one hand only does the clutch and indicator buttons, something do-able with one of the other three limbs.

Also an increasing selection of auto and semi-auto bikes out there. Honda are doing a few bigh bikes with a push-button gearchange and auto clutch.

Commonest is probably simply putting two levers on one side so you can use clutch or front brake.

Some strap the unused arm up. Others fix it to the bar for mass centralisation.

A trike is hardfer to steer one-handed than a motorbike. Quite a physical job so if your balance is ok, I'd go for a bike.

There's a guy turns up to Blackheath hut from time to time, who only has the use of his left arm.

Throttle and front brake have been swapped to the left bar and he clamps his useless hand to the bar when he sets off - the biggest issue he has is doing up his helmet strap.

As said, NABD would be the first point of contact.

It would seem that the OP has lost their writing arm. There was a guy in hillclimb that used to run a trike up the hills very fast.

I think I know the guy you mean.
Bit of a mad bugger, I've met him a couple of times at the Bird's Nest in Deptford. He's never let the duff arm stop him from riding.
Cool

Contact Talan or Anthony and they will certainly be able to help you.

They can provide everything, Bikes, Kit, Instructors, and it will also introduce you to the race team (Talan Racing) which is kept sperate from the Bike Experience.

I think there is a guy around Bristol who rides with one arm. But I can't for the life of me find a relevant link/name.
