Is it just me that thinks the current investigation into the allegations against Ted Heath is a waste of time?

I have no cares about trashing the reputation of a dead Tory but surely scarce police/investigative resources are better directed to detecting current crime.

There can be no trial or therefore conviction. If it's about "closure" for victims, wouldn't t it be cheaper and more effective to pay for counselling for them.

So, can anyone enlighten me, what is the point of investigating a cadaverous kiddy fiddler?

well IF it goes all the way to the top as it seems the arrow is pointing
we need to know and stop it continuing to be swept under the official rug

I was about to post about this
the more the names roll out the more sense it makes, it had to be all the way to the top of the establishment
problem is all these cunts are dead, lets focus on the ones still in the loop that knew and allowed it to happen
name and shame them Thumbs Up

Police: Ok, you can have a dead one.

If you were the "fiddled" you may want public apology, finger pointed etc to help with your acceptance/closure of the situation.

But I do agree that a mass police investigation is time and money consuming. Maybe a small team researching historical (as in the past, no chance of conviction) cases would suffice. As long as they aren't on double the salary of 'regular' policing.

exactly these people were just young kids and told to forget what they had to go through
then need to have their predators named and shamed
most of them will have made allegations in the past but were ignored or laughed at
proving they were telling the truth all along will give them some sense of closure

Yes, of course being believed is important and nowadays people who report current or recent abuse are more likely to be listened to and taken seriously (although there are no guarantees of sensitive treatment, especially when the alleged perpetrator is a person of power or celebrity).

However for people who have lived their memories and made allegations of abuse from many years ago, surely reliving the incidents to a spotty Bobby will reopen old wounds and start the trauma all over again.

Even if some proof can be found, the perpetrator has got away with it. So what is achieved?

Seen in the same room, apparently:-

https://www.sovereignindependentuk.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/savile-heath-500x333.jpg

There have been claims doing the rounds for years, about young boys, press ganged into "crewing" on the "Morning Cloud", Seaman Stains and Master Bates were there too, allegedly!

Just heard a mouthpiece on the radio claim that any illegal avtivity would have been impossilbe, because Heath was with security officers, (specifically), when he was in his house! Very carefully worded that!

Surely the point is that there are/were people, in positions of power, who have been, actively, covering MP PAEDOGEDDON up, on a daily/yearly/rolling basis!

That's why they are doing it.

Were this about Mr Mohammed Mohammed then this would all be buried and anyone bringing it up would be a racist and be arrested for inciting racial hated!

I'll just leave this here. In the current climate this photo alone would be taken as proof of a paedo ring. A big one too.

If we're talking about the establishment then we're talking all those posh boarding schools with their spank happy peado house masters running what are probably practically peado factories.

Yeah agreed, but NB Ted was a grammar school boy - an antidote to the squirearchy, as they called it back then.

But only just. Still no substitute for people from comprehensives in Parliament.

Well, I can see where you're coming from with that. But in fairness, grammar school kids stand much, much closer to those from comprehensives than they do to those from public schools. In general, at least. I've got older mates - in their 60s i.e. - who went to inner city grammar schools and who, upon leaving school, went into some pretty menial, blue collar type jobs.

(Irrelevant point but will mention it anyway alert: They're very working class in every sense of the word - although ime these kinds of ex-grammar school guys have "something" that tends to set them apart from their secondary modern counterparts. A bit sharper, somehow - slightly quicker witted, more likely to feed an esoteric reference into a conversation, or some morsel of knowledge / technical info / wisdom etc. Hard to explain but yeah. Something. This isn't an argument for such schools, NB. However the 11+ did seem to perform some sort of objective winnowing. Of course, taught in much smaller classes with better teachers and more resources, many, many thousands of kids could have - and should have - passed the 11+, or at least been educated to that standard as a bear minimum. Nor do I think they should've been separated from those who didn't. In the right circumstances 99% of kids love learning about stuff).
