Hi guys,

so im about to get the first 125cc (got no time at all for the proper licence atm).

I absolutely love the cofe racer style, i am looking at it day night since I started to consider buying a bike.
I firstly wanted to buy Suzuki 125 van van because of the brand, then straight away change the handles, get rid of some parts in a workshop and enjoy it, however new one is around 3,300 euro and thats plenty.
I could buy used one for better but im just not that sure about it.

Ideally I would get a already modified Honda or Yamaha with very little mileage but it seems close to impossible to find.

So it all comes down to this brand Mash. As far as I know they import parts from China, however this french brand is on the market since 70's and that rises the credibility a little.
I always used to spend more for the brand and especially trust in Japanese manufacturing but with this Mash brand, I could get a new bike for 2.400 with warranty.

Anybody knows how is the brand build quality? am i missing something out?

Thanks

I'm completely biased but I'd say of you like the vanvan, get one. I'm still gutted I sold mine despite having a shiny 650 to play on.

They are a great first bike. Easy to work on, looks amazing, bulletproof engine and plenty of good mods to be made (check out the UK vanvan forum). Yes they cost a bit more brand new, but there are some pretty decent second-hand models to be had out there if you look.

If it came down to spending a couple hundred more euros on a Japanese bike instead of a pretty much unknown Chinese brand, I know which one I'd get.

Go on, you know you want to...
