Szuki Marauder 125 battery issues. Advice needed please

ok i should start by saying im new to bikes and although i love riding more than anything im still on a large learning curve when it comes to technical issues so please be patient with me.

After getting back from a run i could smell a distint whiffof eggs and hear a hissing and when i looked at the battery it had blown up like a ballon so i quickly removed it and have replaced it with a new one. But im worried that i may not have cured the issue and have been told it may be the rectifier. Now i know what it looks like but for the life of me i cant find it on my bike.

Any adice on its location or anything else that could be causing the problem would be really gratefully recieved

Stinky fart smell is the battery boiling (hydrogen sulphide?) therefore overcharging. This is usually down to a duff regulator. Running the bike with it overcharging could damage some of the electronics. I rode across Ireland with all my lights on once, topping up my battery every 50 miles or so in a similar situation till I could get a replacement part.

Thanks guys. I know im gonna sound thick but i seen what they look like on ebay and have ordered one but for the life of me i cant see it on the bike. Any ideas where it is on my GZ125??????
