CHESHIRE, progress to DAS ? your experiences ? school ?

Hi,

New to the forum, and first post ! Smile

Recently got my CBT ticked off at Arrow Rider Training next to J&S (and was complimented by tutor)

I would call myself a novice, but competent on a bike, looking to go DAS fo full licence as over 30 years old.

Looking for a decent school to take my DAS with, as there seems to be such a variation on prices/opinions and options, Arrow seems somewhat long winded and looks like will cost best part of £900, yet CAM rider its nearer £500 ??

Your experiences or opinions ?

I did my A2 and will do my A with CAMRider's Harlow branch.

Training was good, passed with no trouble, staff are helpful on the phone, too. I'd be comfortable in recommending them, especially as they're £400-odd cheaper than your other choice!

Passed my Theory yesterday Very Happy

I got 46 out of 50 for the multiple choice and 66 out of 75 for the hazard perception which im pretty chuffed with.

Still looking for a decent school thats not going to cost me a fortune and has good mannered instructors.

any tips advice on schools around cheshire/chester ???

Why not Arrow?
Did mine with them years ago.
No problems with them.
Doubt it will cost £900.
Missus has the prices here somewhere and it's only about £500

Not sure where abouts in Cheshire you are looking at but Cheshire one2one in runcorn were very good, all the instructors were knowledgeable and friendly.

Hi Gary,

the guy on the phone at Arrow is very good and knowledgeable, and the instructor i had at the cbt there was brilliant, but they seem to have a set plan rather than setting how many lessons you need round your ability.
Also when ive looked afterwards, they are one of the most expensive round here for cbt and lessons.

Spoke to Cheshire one2one yesterday on the phone (George) and he seemed very pleasant and seemed to cater for what im after, going to try 2hrs with them next week.

I live in Northwich.
Didnt like the look or sound of BC in Northwich either.
