I know I should just go down to the track and get them to test it, but thought I'd ask in case someone else on here runs the same model for trackdays.
2005 R1 with Ti Akra race cans and a decat link pipe. Will it sneak in under 101dB on the ACU test method? ____________________ My Flickr |

G at brands the tester gave me a word and said it's 104 and excessively close to the limit and said to expect a flag. I'm to slow to make them flag me |

I highly doubt it.
I went to brands the other day to get the TL tested as wanted to do the evening session and the noise limit was 102.
It got tested at 104/105 ish. I think in reality it's probably a bit more than that though. I'm a little worried to sign up to a 105db day with it as I have no baffles I can put in.
Only track that don't seem to care is donnington. I've never been noise tested there.
So yeah - best way is just go to one and get them to test it. ____________________ CBT Passed: 30/08/2009, Theory Passed: 31/08/2010, Mod 1 Passed: 6/9/2010, Mod 2 Passed: 13/09/2010. Restriction ended 13/09/2012.

I did Donington years ago and the limit was 105.
When my friends FJ1200 failed at 130 he went away and found some roofing insulation and a baked bean tin and jammed that into the end of the 'silencer'.Once it passed the noise test he ripped it all out and did not get stopped, luckily ____________________ Just talk bikes. What else is there?
