My new bike is a Mash 400 Roadstar. So far it's a great bike for me apart from two things:

Firstly it'll cut out in traffic, usually just after a change down and even worse if I blip the throttle in the change. This has got worse to the point that it went into surge/die/surge/die for a few seconds, lit the red EFI/engine light and I coasted to the side of the road. The v. helpful bloke from the shop came out and rescued me. The EFI was reset and things were better for two days and then ... did it again. No red light this time and after ten minutes pushing for home I got fed up, tried her again and she started. Rode home.

The second issue is rough vibes at 5500rpm and above (not been much over 6000 yet but no sign of smoothing out) and this is compared to the demo Mash 400 bike from the shop, coincidentally at 500km too.

So really, has anyone else encountered these problems with the Mash and if so, any suggestions? It goes in for first service next week and I'd like to know if I've got a duff example or if this is expected.
