I had an issue with my 125 where the fuel gauge stopped working for some time, basically was just inaccurate all the time.

When I finally got the shop to replace it under warrenty they drained all the fuel out and it started working.

I'm not sure what bike you have or how much more advance your fuel gauge is or isn't over my budget 125 but might be worth a try?

Ybr 125 so basic gauge - I'm taking it back to the dealer for new fork stanchions (free Very Happy) so might get them to look at it then. Doesn't bother me too much anyway, could be worse - at least it doesn't show half full when it's empty!

Sadly I can't add any more than my above comment.

Might be worth keeping a track of Miles / KM covered before you need to fill up for future reference. Hopefully an easy fix, sorry I can't help anymore.

My bike did this and it didn't end well.

Dealer diagnosed faulty sender /pump unit as opposed to dash or gauge itself. Replaced under warranty.
