Renewing insurance!

hi,

so it's time to renew my insurence find the cheapest quote i could possibly find with the excess not ridiculous aswell, now I'm reading the conditions for the policy and it states "Copy of CBT pass certificate required for all riders"
I'm unable to find my CBT certificate so what can I do? Laughing

Would the school i went with issue a new one or?

You know that you should keep your CBT certificate on you, while you are riding. So just in case you where riding a long and forgot to do your pocket up and it flew out Smile

Some CBT centres where you passed and can prove it will usually charge a small fee for a new one.
I'll never know as I've always found it before the deadline in a place I never put it.

Contact the training school you used and ask them for a new one. Take photograph of new one and problem solved forever?

I've contact the school thanks Smile

They have sent a office copy via email they said most insurers accept that if not it is £20 to get a new one done.

Shouldn't need more than that, even if the plod provide with you a producer if you ever get pulled over and need to show your documents it shows that you do have one.

Not sure if they accept printed copies, could always ask for an email address to forward the email from the training school to, might be worth keeping it in a sub folder in your email.

I wouldn't be to concerned about what insurance companies do and don't accept, if you look at the state of my certificate (insurance email certificate) or the unreadable writing on my emailed documents a clear cut certificate is gold dust in comparison to their efforts.

The office copy just looks like I got my certificate in to a scanner that only does black and white Razz

We'll see what happens when I ring them tomorrow giving them the quote I received.
To be honest I didn't know insurance companies wanted a copy of it, last year they didn't so
