Thinking of changing out the pipe on my divvy (1999), looking at a slip on but the divvy specific ones seem horrendously pricey, thinking something like a generic carbon stubby.

Am I going to strangle the bike's power/tuning with a different bikes can on there? Im pretty sure stock has the best power but im after some more db's!

Sorry for the noob question!

the problem is that you need the link pipes so you need a bike specific one, if you already had a link pipe then you could use any can, the black widow full system is cheaper than ive seen some cans, and get good reviews.

Im still here Smile

Still mulling over what I can get away with mounting with as little fabrication as possible, what I have mounted up atm as I dont think my current setup will extend far enough to provide for a slip on after taking the muffler off.

I used the black widow system (sandy exhausts) on my old xj600, full system £230ish well worth it, well made, good fit, comes with all clamps and gaskets, warranty, sounds good and British made. Can't recommend them enough
