Hey guys, recently bought a tail tidy (for a Grom) from TYGA which has LED indicators, all well and good.
UPON further inspection and realizing there is no licence plate mount i contacted the gentleman..
Replied with something along the lines of ‘sorry mate we don’t sell the licence plate mounts, you can only obtain them from america’
Being the impatient bugger that i am, i cant wait that long with that god awful hunk of plastic sticking from its arse.
So what do i do? i’d like to further add i do not own a drill and i’m not buying one for the sake of a 90 quid piece of plastic.
cheers!

viable option I'm sure, but I'm not confident it will stay on with the high winds here in the south coast Laughing

You can buy an electric drill from B&Q for £15. That's a heck of a lot cheaper than importing the license plate kit - which might not even fit UK plates anyway.

If you really don't want to become a man, then 3M permanent sticky pads (also available at B&Q) really are sticky. Short of drilling and bolting, I don't see that you've got another option.

Use, sheer, willpower, in a Uri Gellar stylee, the power of your mind should keep everything in place, no flaws in that plan AFAICS!

Alternatively buy some tools and get your hands dirty, FFS!

Really, are you an "over entitled" refugee, from the hordes of mongtards over at PistonHeads? Rolling Eyes

Why do you expect, sensible, advice when you plainly can't be arsed.

I have the same bike and same tail tidy. I just drilled two holes and bolted plate on. Job done.

Just buy or borrow a drill.

The practicality is weak with this one.

Buy the drill.. You're going to need one some point down the line anyway so MTFU.

Alternatively do the aforementioned and get decent double sided tape, that's what I'm using on my tail tidy after having the same problem and I'm now wondering if I'll actually be able to get it back off again when the time comes to sell.

Pretty sure this is what I was using https://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/double-sided-foam-tapes/0846345/

£6.99 for 10 meters with free next day delivery.. You can't go wrong.

OP has 3/4 size 125 and is busy importing tail tidies and led indicators, does not have the 3/4 of an average IQ required to determine that drilling a hole in it is required to mount a number plate.

Buy bike, expect to buy tools, or pay for somebody competent to all the work.
