I'd have thought a Ballbag airbag (tm) would be more appropriate to start with, then something to mitigate the femur fracture points of the handlebars.

But what I'm most struggling with is; how the flucking sporg would you manager to potato yourself into a massive, flat, solid wall? I can imagine the back or front of a truck or bus, but more likely a car, and hence over the bars, well clear of the bike before you start landing...

Not sure why they're bothering on the NC. Surely you wouldn't get more than a grazed knee falling off an NC at the dreary speeds they do.

There are a multitude of reasons as to why this is a bad idea, but your assertion that "it's slow" isn't one of them. Speed isn't the deciding factor in whether you die or get injured, it's what's in the way when you make the impact upon it.

They have fitted them on some GoldWings for years. I chose my last one from the GoldWings that didn't have air bags.

As far as I can see, anything other than a head on it isn't going to help, and the head on only in some situations.
