 |
|
I'm thinking of buying one of these to hang and store my gear. Currently it invariably ends up stacked on the floor or thrown over a chair back/clothes horse if they are wet.
So I found this and wondered if anyone already has one, and would like to offer up their opinion before I go ordering it based on the website guff:

I would too but my gear is stored indoors. I'm not short on space but I'm re-doing my spare room and want a way to store my gear tidily and allow it to dry without hanging it alongside other coats and jackets in a cupboard. ____________________ a.k.a 'Geri'

Hell's bells, Pete!
Almost a blind watchmaker, you have the capacity and competence to remotely!! engineer a solution that would leave most of us stumbling in the dark

and yet you want to buy something that you could quite easily knock-up in five minutes out of old tat lying about the place and still make it look off the shelf, I'm sure!
Get a grip, man. ____________________ There's a fine line between integrity |

Na, I have a corner in my room where I pile all my motorbike stuff. I just need to remember not to get it mixed up with my poo poo corner. ____________________ Bikes: Previous Bikes: Piaggio x8 125: 2012/2013, YBR 125: 2013/2013 BMW R1150GS 2013/2017, Honda CBR600RR 2017/2017, Honda CB500 2018/2018, Suzuiki Address 110cc 2019/2020, BMW R1200GS 2021-2023

If you've got a bit more space, i'd have a look at the likes of Argos and Ikea etc. I was considering one of those a few years ago but got one of these room-storage shelves for about £30 from Argos.
Much more rail space (can be extended more than it is in the picture) and can still keep all your helmets and boots off the floor too . Couple of doormats underneath stops anything dripping onto the carpet.

Nice one Matt - that fits in my alcove just right.
It's a shame that those Bikertidy guys have such a poor website because if thumbnails actually clicked to larger pics and scrolling galleries actually worked, and the menus&pages weren't so dis-jointed they probably would have got a sale right away. It's as if someone put a lot of work into a tidy website and didn't get around to checking it was finished. ____________________ a.k.a 'Geri'
