 |
|
How can I stop my Android device sending delivery notifications on WhatsApp? For clarity, I definitely mean delivery notifications, not read receipts.
https://www.whatsapp.com/faq/en/general/20951546
- One grey tick means the sender's message has hit the servers
- Two grey ticks means their message has successfully reached my phone (which is what I want to stop!)
- Two blue ticks means I've read their message (I've already disabled read receipts in the Privacy settings)
I don't want the sender to even know my phone is switched on. I want the sender to only ever see one grey tick, if possible.
I want to be a ghost.
Can it be done? |

Interesting, thanks. It seems it will still send those notifications though, either when I open the app or when I'm connected to WiFi - so the sender has at least some idea that I've got their message.
I need to be waaaay more incognito |
