Name this utter git of a virus please... (and how to fix?)

So, took USB drive to print shop/cafe, print stuff. Great.

Come back, all my documents are still on the USB drive, but within a shortcut.

Said problem has now spread to all computers in my office (any hard drive or USB drive has become a short cut when you first go in to it - see le paint jurpurg).

So, now it's transmogrifying things from Removable Disk to Local Disk, and causing other fidgey widgey. All USB drives can be formatted - no precious data.

Just wondering how to get rid of it from our computers? And what is the name of the beast?

If I was pushed to give it a name, I'd call it Bodyguard or MCN.
