So after having a near miss on the motorway yesterday I was hoping that would be my fill for the week a mini cab driver had other ideas.

After filtering down the A4 to the Hogarth round about I came to a stand still at a red light between lanes 2 and 3, in front on my right is a large van and on my left in front is knobber taxi (silvervauxhall zafira). I am continuing on down the A4 which once on the island can be done from any of teh 3 lanes. Lights go green and we all pull off the van in lane 3 follows the round about around (not going down the A4). At this point with free road in front I proceed towards the 3rd lane of the A4 exit but at the last minute knobber taxi decides that he does not want to go down the A4 but continue round the round about cutting from lane 2 to lane 3, cunnting [sic] me up in the process. Slammed anchors on and managed to stay upright despite him clipping me. He pulls over and opens his window which I promptly fill with expletives regarding his driving. His excuse was that I was in the wrong lane. After a few more choice words I ride off as I am not deaded and there is no damage to my bike.

The only thing I am now worried about is if the knob tries to report it in any way as I left the scene as I was in a fit of rage.

These big roundabouts can be ambiguous about which lane you should be in and everyone needs to be alert for unexpected late lane changes.
That doesn't mean he can push you off the road, but try to stay as much as possible in plain view of those alongside you.
I've had three minor accidents and they were all at or near roundabouts Rolling Eyes

Yeah I was lucky I was paying attention and managed to get to the brakes on time a couple of metres further forward and I would have been floored.
