I need to replace my left fork on my 2014 sv650, I am struggling to find a second hand part of a recent year. Will older models like 03-09 forks fit on the 2014 model with out problems?

Any advice is much appreciated.

Is it the faired model? In which case, I believe it should do, yes. Can't speak for the Gladys, but the faired one hasn't really changed at all since 2004.

Do you mean the whole thing or just the tube, or any other part?

Anyway, googling around, the tubes are the same for all the models from 2003 up till 2014. So I'd assume the whole front end would be the same.
There you go, used and brand new parts: https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2050601.m570.l1313.TR12.TRC2.A0.H0.Xsv+650+fork.TRS0&_nkw=sv+650+fork&_sacat=0
