I did regretfully mark her passing on my FB, as I would hate for the author of "50 Shades of Grey" to be thought of as some kind of innovator in relation to the writing of smutty fiction. And let's not even mention DH Lawrence, John Cleland or the Marquis de Sade Shocked

But I preferred Joan anyway, the old trollop.

I've read a fair few Jackie Collins books in my time. Great stuff for a bit of fluff type reading, but once you've read a lot of them, it could be the same book, just the names and the settings change Smile

It all started with HollyWood Wives for me.
