Holy fuck.

The medical team seemed to have a complete lack of structured approach, massive disorganisation. Spent ages fucking around with the door and window when they had access from the other side, took a long time for other medical support to arrive and in the time the camera was on the car nothing in the way of an extrication team appeared to be anywhere.

Also seemed to take a long time for the red flag to come out, once it was obvious the driver wasn't going to climb out fairly promptly it was obvious the race needed stopping.

Granted I'm not a motorsports doc, but I do have a keen interest in it and have learnt a lot from talks by the likes of John Hinds and Gary Hartstein, and I reckon that they would have a lot to say about that too.

When the cars came round again I thought surely they'd refuse to carry on while the marshals attempt to extract their colleague.

I think they needed a bigger wrecking bar to get the door open quicker, cars like these can be hard to get an injured driver out through the passenger door.

I think it's part of the regulations, so everyone around the world would know, what the safety car is. They sure could use their own ''phrase'', but would it be actually beneficial to anything? Having race drivers from all over the world, not everyone speaking the local language. Thinking
