Pizza Hut bike rider (stolen pizza)

Okay, i'm new to this but I start at Pizza Hut soon as a bike rider, I was wondering what happens if pizza is stolen from me while on delivery? Do I have to pay for it, is it insured or what?

Watch out for those domino's riders, they may stop you and demand a show down. They're a rowdy bunch anyway, but now you've joined the pizza hut side they'll see you as an enemy and come at you full force.

When I did papa johns the rider was responsible for the food from the moment they booked it out. Drop/damage/lose it and you had to pay for it. Same score with the money, come up short and you are expected to make up for the shortfall (keep the receipts from your deliveries our manager used to fuck with computer to try and create false shortfalls for him to pocket). Other places may be better our franchise owner was some ebolastanian immigrant fuck who installed family/tribal/incest products as managers and loved to try and lord it over Brits.

It's a shit job, the only + point is you get to rag the hell out of a bike that doesn't belong to you (though this means the bikes are normally fucked and held together with sellotape).

Nobody's gonna steal your pizza. If they do, pizza hut won't give a shit.

I've dropped pizzas, crashed pizza bikes, dropped bikes while pizza is in the box, taken an empty bag with no pizza in it to a customer. They just make them again.

Don't take the job too seriously, it's just being paid to fuck about really.

BTW I don't recommend pizza hut, their scooters only go 30mph.

+1 about checking your receipts though. Tips should be yours to keep, and make sure they don't fuck you about with the computers and that. Domino's tried doing it to me plenty times, but this other place I'm at makes you hand in your money after every delivery. Pizza hut should let you cash drop after every delivery while keeping about a tenner's float.

Edit: Also go with a company that does semi geared scooters cause then you can wheelie them.

When someone is stealing pizzas from you, someone else will be stealing the pizza ped.

If as a customer you're lucky enough to have your pizzas stolen during transit, Dominos phone you to let you know that your order is going to be late because ghetto but the replacement will be free.

Nothings changed then, I was a pizza delivery moped rider a long time ago back in 1990 ish. The industry was still
in its infancy really. Back then at Dinos, I was paid 1.50per hour PLUS 15p per delivery made. There were nights I'd make
more than the store manager but that's not saying much really.

I worked for
1. Dial a Dinos pizza Dagenham (aussie franchise that bombed spectacularly, leaving me jobless and out of pocket)
2. Dominos pizza Chadwell Heath (Got sacked for refusing to deliver a pizza when it wasn't my turn to go out)
( I may also have called the Manageress a 'Fucking dyke bitch troll' a bit as well during said argument over whos turn it was...)
3. Pizza Hut Dagenham. (Sacked again this time for falsifying late drops and pocketing the 'pound off' a few times.)

All their bikes were abused a very great deal. We used to take them over the field sometimes when it was quiet.
I mean... When it was quiet we used to go and fill them up with petrol

Fortunately, by the time I was 18, I'd finished with part time studenty jobs and joined an agency
to work full time.
