Flipped the stem and upped the seat a touch so just need to keep tweaking till happy. I do think the seat needs to go though, pretty stiff even with padding.

Assuming the seat is the correct height you could have gone for a smaller frame.
The picture seems distorted but that stem does look rather long for the bike so yes I would agree go for a shorter stem unless of course you have remarkably short legs and a long body and arms.

I agree with sickpup about the length that stem appears to be. It's like some of the older racer bikes with "7" shaped quill-stems. Must be more like steering with a rudder rather than handlebars.

I wonder if your saddle could come further forwards too? It seems a long way back but that could just be the perspective on the image.

How tall are you and what size is that frame?

I'd be very wary about using a 60mm frame, in fact I wouldnt use one personally, will make the bike very twitchy.

Also try measuring the width of those bars as they look massive. Measure from the centre to centre of the tube on either end then measure the distance across your shoulders from their centres. Generally bars come in 40, 42 and 44cm widths. If the bars are significantly wider than your shoulders then your arms will be getting splayed to wide and not helping in many ways, including fit/comfort.

I'll put a better pic up later. As it is now it's reasonably comfy and it rides nice once I got used to it. Size wise I'm 6'3" with an inside leg of about 35" so the frame fits well.

Just noticed my seat is about level with my bars, no wonder I'm comfy

Still tweaking, seat needs to go up again to reduce the bend in my legs but getting there.

To give you a reference, I've got a 34" inside leg and my saddle height is 40" from the top to the floor. Any less than that and I find I start losing a huge amount of power.
