... I forgot the damn disc-lock and it crunched up the end of the cable. Careful straightening has not yet rescued it. Bugger.

I nearly did the same thing the other evening.

I parked up outside the CO-OP and then walked to the chippy. When I got back to the bike, there was a couple of old guys there and we started gabbing about motorbikes. Around fifteen minutes later, we said our good byes, I sat on the bike, swithed the engine on and just as I put it in gear to ride off, I heard the beep beep beep of my thankfully alrmed disc lock. Embarassed
