Found this in The Times on Saturday. Looks like you'll have to have an eye on the sky when enjoying yourself in France.

And they're even going to ban foreign speeders from France. That should be interesting. Will they check the shitlist when you arrive on the ferry?

They say the foreigners might be banned from driving in France, not from entering the country. So, it'll be the same thing as other bans, if they catch you behind the wheel or on a motorcycle, there goes another fine and next time we're talking jail time/deportation. Thumbs Up

I think, if they made the driving tests more difficult, there wouldn't be so many crappy drivers on the roads.

I know people that got their license because of tits driving in ridiculously high heels or one that can't tell which side is left and which one is right, or just because it was about to be winter and it was his 4th time. Rolling Eyes

What with the French being French, I suspect it will mean a ban from entering the country if you arrive by vehicle at ferry terminals. There's a long history of the rosbifs being given grief by the gendarmes at the channel ports. There was one year when they were crowbarring phone brackets from car dashboards because they wanted to ban phone use by drivers. At other times they have been very stroppy about enforcing the safety equipment rules. Monsieur, you're not coming in unless you have a warning triangle. We can supply one for a huge amount of euros. Or you can fuck off home on the next ferry.

Headline: OMFG SPEEDING

Content: <Le Froggish careless and inconsiderate>

If they're actually going to be used to finger arseholes and tug cocks, then bring on Skynet, says I.
