Anyone remember the '80s mag which wrote about injuries?

Every month they'd analyse the causes of a crash and detail the rider's injuries, whether they were permanent, what prosthetics he needed etc. I've never seen a mag go in for such depressing detail. I bet the advertisers hated it. I was very influenced by it and took leathers and armour more seriously than most. (This was in the '80s when everyone was wearing jeans and Dunlop Green Flash.) Can anyone remember which magazine it was?

I recall "Motorcycle & Motorcycle Mechanics" before it became ~~VFR-Owners Monthly~~ Motorcycle International, publishing a Plod RTA report each month.. could that have bee it?
I seem to remember Highway code type diagrams of road positioning, and "What can we learn from this' conclusion at the end...

Pretty sure Performance Bikes had a feature about people who had crashed but carried on riding... Seem to remember a picture of a girl/woman with a mangled knee and a bloke who had lost his leg but was running a race tuned FZR600.

Given my age, it may have been the 80's or 90's

I think it was probably Bike or Motorcycle Maniacs - I'm thinking this was early '80s, which was before Performance Berks was born, wasn't it? I don't know why but I've got the urge to buy old bike mags on ebay, so perhaps I'll stumble across the answer.
