Currently I have some Weise Psycho gear, which honestly has been brilliant through last winter at keeping me warm and dry. Also tried throwing myself at the floor and didn't sustain any damage. No long trips in the rain to be fair but I took no notice of the weather apart from cold hands.
Only complaint would be the jackets a bit too short off the bike if worn with normal jeans.

Anyway since I've been to the gym and put on a load of muscle taken to wearing a back protector, I can't fit a jumper under it anymore. It's currently a choice between fitting the thermal liner in or breathing.

Was thinking of getting something 3/4 length, possibly with high-vis (possibly with white helmet, possibly 'POLITE' Rolling Eyes ).
Though now I've been looking at some of the Rev'It jackets that seem to do a pretty convincing job of being casual enough to wear around town.
Any good?

I have Rev'It 2 piece leathers so I can only comment on these.

But they're very good quality with a good finish to them too. From that experience, I would recommend the brand.

I did 4 years of commuting year round in Rev'it textiles. Worked perfect, warm in winter with liners in. Lasted 4 years and 80k miles fine. Still have them, just no bike Very Happy

I bought a Rev It textile "twat suit" to match my GS LC last year.

The rubber anti-slip pad on one side of the pants tore while in the Alps this year, but they repaired them under warranty.

The only downside was having to post them back to FC Moto in Germany at my cost.

I've got a pair of the trousers second hand, they have lasted quite a few miles. Apart from a whole in both of the pockets and now trouser leg (had to rip it to get my keys out. They are great.

I've had a Rev It jacket now for 3 years. Worn all through the year and is great.
