Hi

Strange question I know but I want to lift up the seat, I have a key, do I need to insert it in the Helmet Lock...to open the seat...I can't see any other locking mechanisms holding the seat

regards

Roy

Normally you use the helmet lock and pull down a lever behind it when you've turned the key, or something like that.

This is something I had to recently do myself, though I had the benefit of having the manual, which I guess you don't.

There is a single bolt on the underside of the seat above the back wheel. It's a little awkward to see and get to but not impossible. Mine needed a size 10 spanner to get it out, though the manual said it was a screw...
