MOD2 PASSED!!!

Yeah, after two failures I passed the third time. I was driving terribly bad comparing my normal standards but, whatever, I guess it was good enough!

Riding on the motorway from Burgess Hill back to home felt really good (and wet) and my little CBF125 was doing quite well.

No more daydreaming while browsing eBay, MCN Sales or whatever. Now I am in the market for real!!!
Thanks to everyone that has helped me with my questions and moanings in these months!

You writing about no longer daydreaming while Ebay or Mcn gazing made me laugh and remember how much time I spent looking on Ebay, Gumtree etc thinking...Now if I can pass in the next week or so I could get that, would give me a bit of cash left over, hey how about that one, who-ah, bit powerful for the first bike but Christ its beautiful etc etc.

Feels so much better to be BUYING rather than BROWSING.

Well done matey. I passed on the same day as you - not at Burgess hill though. Wasn't the perfect ride, but 6 minors was good enough to see me through, and I couldn't care less now. Went straight to the Honda dealer with my blue certificate and rode out with my CBR 650.

Funny the above posters should mention motorways. It had been raining quite hard in the morning as you know. My test was early afternoon. Got to the dealer and it was lovely bright sunshine. Right I thought, I'm going to see what the motorway is all about on a bike. Headed onto the M25 at Junction 7 and literally as I turned onto it the heavens opened. It was chucking it down. I slowed to 60mph and sat in the inside lane 50m back from a lorry. Was pretty nervous as my visibility was piss poor due to the rain sitting on the helmet visor. Got off at 10 and made it carefully into London. Was quite a baptism of fire. I agree though - there should be a motorway section on the test. I guess they could take you to some fast dual carriageways if they so wanted, but nothing quite sets you up for 4 lanes of the M25 at the start of rush hour in a storm.

Any tips for visibility in the rain other than wiping your visor every two seconds?

Congrats on your CBR! I think we will both remember that wet day lol.
It is a bit stressing having to shop now. Is that ebay seller a scammer? Is that dealer dodgy?.

You "shouldn't" use it on plastic, apparently. Millions will die, rain of blood, cats and dogs living together.
