Was it a mate that took you to the cbt place? If so give him/her a ring and ask if they remember where they took you?

CBT Certificate

You'll need to rack your brain.

Ins company are right to question this. It's not their duty to remember. Sorry.

If you can't remember where you did it after only 2 years you maybe don't think it was too significant. (or you have pre-senile dem.) Sad

If I was an insurer/broker I wouldn't roll over on that either.

Anyway good luck on the detective hunt. Thumbs Up

It is a bit shitty right enough to think you weren't on it but the rools is the rools.

Retaking it and sending it to them probably made them think you were fraudulent in the original insurance quote.

Remember where you took it. Simple.

Are you serious in saying that you cannot remember a place that you spent £100+ and took a course to let you legally ride a bike?

I call bullshit and you fucked up.

I don't understand how you thought redoing a CBT and posting that document would help in anyway what so ever. The date on it is a big giveaway.

You would have been better just saying you can't find the document. Now they just think you are dodgy.

Couple of thoughts.

Licence > CBT > Bike > Insurance.

If you cannot work out when you did the CBT then you are in trouble.

Another option is how did you pay?
Card, Bank transfer, Cheque or cash?

So long as its not cash then its traceable...

But of course if its over 2 years ago, then do you really want to find the date....

Can you remember the company you worked for?

Contact them and see if your ''mate'' still works there and if he could contact you.

On the 16th of October 2013 you were riding around on a Sachs 125.

Have you retaken your CBT since then?

When did your bike get nicked?

I think Ste has made a pretty helpful point.

Good luck in finding your *ahem* certificate.
