Aldi - hi-vis, base layers and tools.. probably best to luck, personal preference and all.

Lidl - worth a look if you're planning on adding budget end items to your work tools collection, socket set also available.

Might take a look in some of the local stores nearby to see the quality of the product.

No, just posting as there's been interest in the past in both lidl / aldi deals.

Personally might take a chance on aldi's thermal layers as at £7.99 for a top and bottom I could get two sets for just over what one of the oxford thermal layers cost me from J&S, always handy to have more than one pair.

As you say viewing in person would determine quality.

I'm quite interested thermals myself and will take a look at the tools could do with more screwdrivers and there is a set for £10.. I hope they won't break in half within a few minutes.

I bought that screwdriver set a couple of years ago, still not managed to break/knacker any of them, I rebuilt my project bike, fitted a kitchen with them as well as the usual DIY stuff and they're still going strong!

The base layers are £7.99 per item. Not for a pair.

I've got loads of Aldi and Lidl base layers, I originally bought them for the bike but end up using them from around the end of October until the sun comes out again Smile
Feel nekkid without base layers at times.

The Aldi and Lidl tools are usually of reasonable quality, especially considering the price point, and their electric tools are quite often German in origin. They're worth a punt.

Tools? maybe?.... I`m trying to buy top quality tools, one at a time, rather than budget tools, but if they look to be ok ? then maybe?

As for the magnetic trays Thumbs Up going to be getting them when I pass on Thursday (I can never have enough magnetic trays)
Also that cordless doorbell looks better than the crappy one I have now, so will be getting one of those.
