Your survey is awful and isn't going to give you anything meaningful at all.

Yes it is.

It's not completely impossible that one day, one of these students who spam us with their product research surveys will actually make a product based on the answers provided by BCF. Shocked

If that were to ever happen then I would be so happy! Mr. Green

I've only been here a short while, but already I can see that if that were to happen the product would quite likely be a sex toy of some sort.

Done, although the key product design questions seemed to be, "Do you own a rain suit," and "Do you like windscreens" so I'm expecting this:

It's not exactly probing. I don't see how it can feed into product design. I hope Mg40 will shed some light.

Hi,

I'm doing a Product design course at Derby University and in my last year. For my major project im looking at riding in the rain. Could you fill out this questionnaire, would be a great help.

Thanks

This is why going to uni has a bad name nowadays Laughing

I rest my case.

P.S. You need to work on your data validation. 300 years old biker is of not much help in the rain does it?

So is OP going to make me my unscratchable, de-mistable visor?

Because if he does, there's a lot of guys wanting to make head up displays are going to be very pleased with him.

Can I suggest some sort of glass. With a heating element.

The best way to improve riding in the rain, apart from stuff we already have like decent clothes and anti-fog visor thingies, is a day of off-road lessons on a small, crashable dirt bike. After that your skill and confidence in slippery conditions are so much improved that riding in the rain becomes a satisfying challenge instead of a miserable, stressful ballache. But we don't have enough affordable offroad training centres. So please design a national network of them.
