Hi all.

Last went on the bike around 2 months ago ..

Cracked it up the other day got to the end of the street and the bike bogged down ... Left it idling for a few seconds hoping it would sort itself but as soon as i put revs on it died.

Would start back up but do the same.

Left it a few days since and just starting looking at the problem now ...

Swapped out spark plug, cut ht wire and re fitted cap
Took exhaust off to make sure it wasn't blocked

Problem still exists ... So I have just taken the carb off to give it a good clean which brings me onto my first question ...

The choke cable is "stuck" inside the carb .. I couldn't see how it was possible to get it out so ended up taking the whole choke mechanism off .. It's the one what's on the handlebar ... Any idea how I can remove that ? I have attached a picture showing it.

Also - does anyone have any idea what could be causing the issues described above ? I am hoping it's just the carb full of crap.

Can't be bad fuel can it ? Should I give it fresh when putting the carb back on ?

Before I stripped the carb out I could kick the bike over and give it revs and it would rev high but as soon as I let it go down and then out revs on it would just bog down and die .. Really confused as if it was fuel issue that wouldn't happen would it ?

I could swap the CDI unit if I still have the same problem.

Anything else it could be ?

It has the AM6 Engine in and Dellorto Carb

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply - will check it out..

So is the dellorto carb not the standard carb what came with the bike ?

It was on when i bought the bike and its been running fine for 5+ months but after it being stood for a while doesnt want to play Sad

Would you say my issue sounds carb related then ?

Thanks.
