Hey again people hope your all well Smile

Right could some one tell me how to fit my new coil? I know the orange wire goes to the spade, but unsure where I earth the black one? does it go from one coil hole to the other Imber tween the coil and frame mount to create an earth?

Updates new stator is on the way hopefully won't have to replace the cdi

Thanks again guys. Dan DTR 1999

The earth wire usually fastens to the mount for the coil somewhere. It just needs a good connection to the frame and the coil mount usually sorts it.

BTW...."Imber tween" has to be one of the bestest spellings I've ever seen on this forum so far and has brightened up a potentially dull day for me Thumbs Up

Hahaha cheers Vincent it's this silly spell check I always glance at my keyboard and not the screen lol, is the black earth wire ment to come out of the loom then bolt on as you said above?
