Alright everyone,

Well as of yesterday I officially have a bike license! Well a restricted one but still a license haha

Did a few days training at West Pennine in Blackburn, they where really good and all the instructors where fine. Didnt think it was to badly priced either

Spent the first day doing Mod 1 stuff, just going in and out of cones haha. Bike was a Suzuki GS500, i was proper worried at first that i wouldnt be able to do all the manouvers on it, having never ridden a big bike before... However to be honest it was miles easier, felt alot more stable and 'planted' if you will. Had my mod 1 test on Wednesday and it was absolutely lashing it down ive never rode in the wet before, so was abit worried about the Emergency stop, cause i kept locking the back wheel up, and i was even worse in the wet. Same on the swervey one aswell, just had visions of the front end disappearing. As it happens i was worrying about nothing, got through it with no faults, so was pleased about that!

Went back to work on thursday, then had the last test slot on friday for my Mod 2, started at about 3 oclock, so managed to catch all the schools finishing and the beginning of the Friday traffic ended up crawling along for quite a while, which isnt too bad as you cant really go wrong doing that. Only bit i was worried about was some road works where two lanes merged, was abit of a free for all so was thinking how do i do this in the official manner, but managed to get my way across. Managed to get through it all with 2 faults, one for slowing down abit to much going from a NSL to a 40, and the other for moving away from some car doors on a bend a tad to much, but apart from that was good!

Cant wait to take the Loser plates of the H100!!! :

I love reading posts like this purely based on the wide array of things DSA examiner's say to give test candidates minors. I do feel after reading quite a few they must have some form of a book they study before and after Module 2's and pick any one at random.

The goods news is you have a license but one that is subject to stupid restriction laws that are just endlessly complicated to understand, fireblade and crayola certificate FTW.

Cheers guys, well on the slowing down one, i slowed using the brakes (as you do...) to about 40, then i thought, hmm best change down aswell, so i dropped it a gear when i didnt really need to i think and it slowed down even more, whether thats worthy of a fault i dunno but im not too fussed haha.

You can get really nice bike on restricted which you can keep after removing the restriction.
