Is this the sort of sale where they have one of each item at the headline prices?

Yes and no, it can be a bit brand specific. There are definitely bargains to be had if you get there early on day one.

Last time I went I got a 1 piece leather for well under £100. Tried on at least 5 at that price to find my size. The Alpinestars stuff and other big price ticket name brands will be thin on the ground though. Maybe 1 set of boots in each of 3 sizes, same with the jackets. There were a pile of around 40 Box helmets in all sizes for £30ish and bins full of gloves you never heard of.

If you get there for doors opening on day 1 you can do pretty well in the warehouse bit they open up.

I netted this back in April for £35. I proceeded to sell the pazzo lever so the lot + petrol there cost me 0.

They've been doing these sales twice a year for ages the above is actually my worst ever haul!

If you don't get there early then brand name gear will only be in womens size 6 or mens XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXL

They never have my size in jackets that I like (44) Sad

I'm waiting for them to chop the price on A* Jaws leather jackets, but I know it'll never happen Sad

Looks like you can probably get a bargain on a lid, but they mostly stock Oxf**d stuff. RST and Richa are a couple of other clothing brands they have some good discounts on though, as wr6133 has noted.

Place is full of big, ugly cruiser bikes lately Sad

Is it worth a 3hr drive to get the missus kitted out? They got some big discounts on their website but if it's only some and first come kinda deal it sounds a bit of an head ache - yeah gotta drive, can't take tge missus on the back all that way cuz she first needs some kit....

6am on a Saturday and halfway round the m25 is a big ask for a possible maybe... A definite maybe might be worth it tho..

The mainstore reduced stuff there is generally lots of (the stuff on the flyers).

The bit where you need to be early is the warehouse part of the sale that is mostly odd sizes so if you miss the start the "normal" sizes are gone.

My Mrs has always done pretty well in their sales, she has better gear than me. She's size 6 though and as most biker chicks seems to have rolled straight off the set of Godzilla there is usually loads of small size women's stuff going unsold.

I'd say it's worth the drive if she is serious about getting geared up, even if you only buy from the mainstore you will get her kitted up head to toe for less than half what it should cost in mid-decent brands.

Got there at 0830 and people were already lining up down the road. Busiest I've ever seen it, lots of stuff but a lot of people trying to grab the stuff.

Disappointing haul at £43, probably could have done better but couldn't be arsed diving in to the feeding frenzy.

Richa Cobra trousers
Ixon Typhon Jacket
A heavy Oxfraud chain (likely made of cheese)
Random rear calliper
Stick on clock
Oxfraud combo lock (letters instead of numbers)
Belstaff leather gloves with Kevlar lining (horrible colour scheme).

£1, A bit of web trawling tells me it is actually a front calliper as found on most GY6 clone peds/scoots. Taking it outside to compare to the one on my vclic confirms.

So £1 for a new set of pads for the ped and the calliper will go on fleabay for £15 (cmpo sell them for £36).

I gots one of these, for 10 pounds.

https://www.helmetcityadventuretouring.co.uk/images/uploads/oxford_ol155_x40_tailpack_black.jpg

Along with free bacon roll and tea Cool

Say what you will about Oxfraud but it has some cool design features and looks well put together. It fits with straps and bungees that go under the seat but the main bag zips off the base easily and can be used as a backpack.

Just checked online and it's £100 Shocked
