I have been biking for 11 years and today the weather was amazing. Without doubt the best November biking day for me ever.

Summer leathers warm, unbelievable. Soo nice soo many bikes out.

Managed to find fog on lower ground, turned round headed upwards loved it.

I had a jumper a hoodie and winter gloves in my rucksack I didn't need any of them. At the start around 2pm I was too hot.

Half way through my ride today I realised my heated grips weren't on, either because I was being a potato and forgot about them or because it wasn't bollock freezing cold, I'm thinking and hoping Laughing it was the latter.

Was a bit foggy on the A63 near squires. Was there a 2-stroke meet on or something?

Oxfordshire was wall-to-wall sunshine yesterday. Thick fog rolled in last night though, and is still here this morning. Not that the roads or countryside around here inspire much riding anyway.

Wasn't so shabby today either. I fully winterised the Tractor this weekend, but ended up riding the Enfield in just for the jollies. Eco-hippes need to up their whinging, I'm balls deep into global warming right now.

Do you lay it up for the winter or is winterising a dose of ACF50?

Yesterday was unbelievable. Never known weather like it - cold, thick fog, really impenetrable stuff, then head up the slightest hill into...summer. And the sunlight through the fog in the late afternoon was positively lysergic. It was an incredible day. We we're on unmade roads, and at one point early on I was up to my knees in a bike swallowing swamp like a scene out of Southern Comfort. I had to be extricated by a friend. I got a bit demoralised tbh. So we headed up to Seaways and suddenly it was like the middle of July. The contrast was surreal. I was covered in shite and my bike looked like a comedy chocolate full-size model. Ok, I exaggerate - bygwim. So after beans on toast, we headed off towards Malton, green lanes i.e., and riding above the clouds in dazzling sunshine then down into dark, damp valleys where some of the village street lights were flickering on - wow. Very strange and amazing. And I nearly didn't go out at all because the fog down in the vale was seemed so uninviting. Best day's riding of the season, in some ways. If only for the bizarre meteorological shenanigans.

It was such a great day, I'll not forget it.

Just reading the newspaper and it was the hottest November day in 70 years.

Great season absolutely great.

Bet the power companies aren't too happy.

ACF-50'd it and put the muffs and invalid blankets on a few weeks back because winter. You're all welcome.

This weekend was refreshing the duct tape holding the muffs together, and intensifying the forward lasers LEDs with strips up the mirrors and point lights on the crash bars.

I even used a relay this year, very posh.

Looks like another mild day tomorrow. Dance!
